Release v1.4.1 - 25/01/2021

Release v1.4.1 - 25/01/2021

New & Improved

Public portal

Addresses

When adding a previous address, the Is this your current addressfield is not ticked by default to make sure applicants need to set an end date.

Moved the Reason for leaving field after the Landlord question to make data entry flow better.

When an applicant adds their current address the Living situation and Landlord question text adjusts to use the correct tense.

Local connections

When adding new Local connections and Preferred areas the ‘Add’ button has been updated to make it clearer what the applicant is doing.

Adverts

When viewing a list of properties after clicking into an advert to view it in detail the return to list link takes you back to the correct place in the list.

Fields

Decimal, money, number and single line text fields have been updated to bring their display style in line with other field types.

Forms

When you step through different pages of a form the system scrolls to the top of the next page automatically.

Icons updated on the page navigation to make it clearer to applicants when they have completed an entire section as opposed to just a sub-section of the form

When an applicant has been sent a request to review part of their form, or if they have outstanding changes which they have not submitted, the banner is now displayed in purple to improve readability.

Back office

Change of circumstances

When an applicant has made changes to their Housing Register form but not submitted the changes, the button on the Portal page has been updated to make the styling consistent with other areas of the system and renamed to ‘View changes’.

Addresses

Added a Delete button against each address when viewing a person’s address history.

Fields

Is this person pregnant field standard label updated to ‘Are they pregnant’.

Form Editor

Preferred Contact Name area can now be hidden on both the back-office Admin and public My profile forms.

The following standard fields on the public My profile form can now be moved to another group on another page of the form; Nationality, Returning from residence overseas, Consent to share demographics, Ethnic group and Sexual orientation.

On the public My Housing Register form all fields in the Council connection and Current home groups can be moved to another group or page on the form

Standard fields can be removed from forms by marking them as hidden when adding a record, and when editing a record. They remain visible on the form as a greyed-out entry until the form is published. Some standard fields are a minimum requirement for the system to function and cannot be hidden.

A checkbox is displayed within a group in the Form Editor if it contains any standard fields that have been hidden. Checking this box shows the hidden fields and allows them to be re-instated.

When adding new fields to a form the UI has been improved to make the process easier. Multiple fields can be added at the same time, as well as the ability to sort and search through all the fields that are available.

All standard Person fields can now be added to the My Family form and other People sub forms. Any fields not displayed on the My Family form by default can be added by checking the Show hidden box and marking the fields as visible on add and edit.

New functionality added to allow fields to be grouped together when being re-ordered. This allows related fields to be moved all together to ensure they do not get separated. Each group of fields are always displayed on a new line in the form to allow more control over the layout of fields.

Fixes

Public portal

Forms

Fixed an issue where the cache on the public portal is automatically updated when a new lookup or version of the workflow is published, meaning changes to forms are seen by applicants straightaway.

People sub forms labels were not showing the label unless it had been changed from the default ’Questions about your family’ label.

The My Family form has been updated to show the add household member page straightaway.

Back office

Lookups

Adding a new look up from the Lookups list no longer displays an API error, and allows a new look up to be created.

Addresses

Fixed issue where an address could not be updated or deleted if the current person was not associated with the address.

Fixed issue where duplicate addresses were being displayed when the current person was not associated with an address.

Form Editor

Improvements to the Form Editor to detect when changes have been made to a form and the Publish banner should be displayed.
