How to assign additional priority to a particular Parish for an applicant

The system allows applicants to be assigned additional priority to one or more local authority Parish areas. When an applicant bids on a property in one of these Parishes they are shortlisted based on their enhanced priority, instead of their normal banding priority.

To enable this functionality you will need to follow these steps:

Enable the system setting

Go to System settings -> Housing Register and check the Enable local connection band override option. 

Enable the Bands that can be assigned as Parish overrides

This is done by editing the Band values that you wish to assign as overrides and setting the 'LocalConnectionOverride' tag on each item.

When a Parish local connection is then created in the back office a Band override can then be assigned for just that area:
