The Landlord and Team structure within the system allows for flexible filtering of data so that users are only able to access the data that is relevant to the their roles. However for some users, i.e. managers, they may require a wider view of the data. This structure can easily be achieved within the Huume solution and this article will detail how it can be configured.
The diagram above details an example of Landlords having different internal teams looking after different groups of properties, and only each team to view their own properties. Each landlord then has a high level management team that can view all properties that belong to all their teams. This ensures landlords can only view their own properties.
A Local authority team can then sit above the landlord teams so they have visibility of all properties across all landlords.
To achieve this example we would need to create a Team record for each of the teams in the diagram. We also need to ensure Landlord records exist for both Landlord A and Landlord B.
Team configuration
This details how each Team record needs to be configured:
Landlord A Red Team
Allow Properties to assigned to this team = Yes
Landlord A Blue Team
Allow Properties to assigned to this team = Yes
Landlord B Green Team
Allow Properties to assigned to this team = Yes
Landlord B Yellow Team
Allow Properties to assigned to this team = Yes
Landlord A Team
Additional team data access = Landlord A Red Team, Landlord A Blue Team
Landlord B Team
Additional team data access = Landlord B Green Team, Landlord B Yellow Team
Local Authority Team
Additional team data access = Landlord A Team, Landlord A Red Team, Landlord A Blue Team, Landlord B Team, Landlord B Green Team, Landlord B Yellow Team
Users can then be assigned the correct team based upon their role.
