19. Local Authorities
Local Authorities list
The Local authorities option in the explorer displays a list of all the Local Authority records in the system.
Editing a local authority
Editing a local authority displays all Areas (parishes) that are associated with that Local authority.
Item | Details |
Active | Determines if the authority is a current local authority |
Show on Property form | Determines if the local authority is displayed in the Local authority dropdown on the Property form |
Show on housing register form | Determines if the local authority is displayed in the Local authority dropdowns when creating Local connections and Preferred areas |
Restrict access to Cases owned by these organisations | Determines what Organisations in the system can view Cases owned by this local authority |
Editing an Area (Parish)
Item | Details |
Area name | The name that appears in the Parish dropdown |
Active | Determines if the Area (Parish) appears in the Parish dropdown for the Local authority |
Neighbouring areas | Allows Areas (Parishes) that neighbour this area to be defined. |
Neighbouring Areas (Parishes)
If an Area (Parish) is set to have neighbouring areas/parishes then this information is used when shortlisting a property and including a Parish local connection rule.
