We are looking to introduce a small change to the Local connection functionality and just wanted to get peoples thoughts on it as it would be something that would change for everyone.

Some people have experienced issues with applicants saying they have a local connection but then not adding the details of what area they have the connection to.

The change we are proposing is to add a new standard Do you have a local connection checkbox field to the page:

If this field is ticked then the Add local connection section will be displayed and the applicant will be required to add at least one connection. A warning message will be displayed informing the applicant that they need to do this.

The new field and behaviour would be rolled out for all systems so if you have any comments then please feel free to add them below.
